maybe a change of air, a different country

Breathless with tired feet,
we try to keep up with them.

When will she come back to Vienna?

She is riding like the devil,
always in front of everyone
We see them hunting through forests
and jumping over ditches-
the horses with flying manes and foaming mouthes.
There she is coming right after the pack,
not missing any hurdle,
she jumps over it and goes on with the hunt.
They are already out of sight,
behind the bushes behind the forest.
There they are again.
The captain rides first,
Elisabeth follows him.
Now there is a wall, the horses slow down,
but the captain risks the jump,
his horse jumps and breaks down the next moment,
and there is again his pursuer.
She gives her horse the sp...(?),
jumps over the wall...
laughs and is already out of sight.
